This design was so much fun. Rae Morrison's beautiful jewellery provided some
great inspiration, and the custom logo was actually derived from my own
handwriting!
Completely written in CSS and XHTML, the site
has an amazingly simple back end thanks to a piece of software called
JAlbum. I constructed a cunning
set of projects so that Rae need only drop new photos into a folder for
a series, and hit rebuild. Once uploaded, the gallery works beautifully,
even to including new items in a Paypal shopping cart!
The system works so well I'm incorporating it in an ongoing project with
a different client, and will be adding it to my own site for my jewellery
designs.
